Why these brands

Adult, wellness, dating and nightlife businesses have stories that deserve coverage: new products, real data, founders with something to say, laws that change how customers live. Yet the usual routes are closed. Major newswires publish rules that refuse most adult releases, and some PR firms decline the work outright.

That leaves brands pitching alone, or paying for placements that carry little weight. We built BrandAfterdark to do the slower work that earns real coverage, described in our services for adult PR and media outreach, and in the insights.

What we do, and what we refuse

We do

  • Find stories that mainstream editors can run
  • Pitch named reporters one at a time
  • Prepare real, named spokespeople
  • Report coverage, mentions, branded search and AI answers against a baseline
  • Remove what Google allows, and outrank what it does not

We refuse

  • Buy coverage or publish paid articles as news
  • Promise placements
  • Pitch anything explicit
  • Invent spokespeople, reviews or testimonials
  • Work with brands that cannot operate legally in the US
  • Pressure publishers to remove accurate reporting

No logos, no borrowed results

As a new studio we have no testimonials to show, and we will not invent any. Many brands in these categories prefer their agencies to stay unnamed, so we never name a client without written permission. What you can judge is how we think, in the insights, what we charge, on the pricing page, and how we would approach your story, in a free review.

On the record

Why only adult and adjacent brands?

Because the usual PR shortcuts are often closed to them, from newswires to some agencies. Working only in these categories means we know the barriers before the first pitch.

Who are your clients?

We do not name clients without written permission, and as a new studio we will not borrow other people's results. Judge us by our published prices, our insights and a free PR opportunity review.

Where are you based?

We work with US brands and US media. The company behind BrandAfterdark is named in our terms and on every contract and invoice.
