By using this website, submitting a story through our pitch form, or signing a statement of work with BrandAfterdark, you agree to the terms below.
Who we are
BrandAfterdark is operated by Techno Hiker Pvt Ltd, registered in India as a private limited company. Its registration details appear on every statement of work and invoice. Write to hello@brandafterdark.online with any question about these terms.
Scope
BrandAfterdark provides public relations, digital PR, media outreach and search reputation services. We do not buy coverage, sell paid placements presented as news, produce explicit content, or give legal advice.
Coverage is never promised
Publication is always an editor's decision. Our obligation is to carry out the work in your statement of work; no specific article, outlet, publication date, headline, search ranking or AI answer is part of that obligation. Search engines and AI assistants make their own decisions, and removal requests are decided by the platform concerned.
Fees and costs
- Package prices are published in US dollars on the pricing page; your statement of work fixes the amount.
- Flexible monthly: renews each month and stops when either side gives notice ahead of the next billing month.
- Set term: the reduced monthly fee runs for the whole three, six or twelve months you choose.
- Extra costs that belong to a campaign, such as survey panels, travel or specialist media databases, are quoted and approved in writing first, then passed on at cost.
- Fees are invoiced monthly in advance.
Your responsibilities
- Your business, products and marketing are lawful where you operate.
- Every fact and claim you approve for a pitch is accurate, and you can support it.
- Your spokespeople are real, are who they say they are, and have agreed to speak.
- You approve pitches and quotes promptly, and tell us at once if anything changes.
Embargoes and exclusives
When we agree an embargo or an exclusive with a journalist on your behalf, you agree not to release the same news elsewhere before the agreed time. Breaking an embargo can end a reporter's trust in both of us.
Confidentiality
Unreleased news, strategy, results and working documents stay between us. Your name will not appear in our marketing unless you agree in writing. The privacy policy explains how personal information is handled.
Content and ownership
Materials we write for you are yours once paid for. Our research, media maps and methods remain ours.
Liability
For any claim, BrandAfterdark's liability is capped at the fees paid in the three months leading up to it. Editorial choices, platform decisions and lost profits are outside that liability. This cap does not apply where the law forbids limiting liability.
Ending the work
One month's written notice ends an engagement from either side; a serious breach allows immediate termination. Any embargo already agreed with a journalist still holds after the engagement ends.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes will be heard by the courts of India, unless your statement of work names a different forum.
